The Green Bay Packers will have their full secondary available for Sunday’s matchup against the Chicago Bears, following a well-timed bye week that allowed key players to recover.
Cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and safety Evan Williams (hamstring) are back in action after missing the team's last outing—a loss to the Detroit Lions two weeks ago. Both had previously exited during the Packers' win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 27 due to injuries.
However, not all Packers are ready to go. Cornerback Robert Rochell, safety Kitan Oladapo, offensive tackle Travis Glover, and defensive lineman Colby Wooden are listed as inactive. Wooden, who missed practices throughout the week, is sidelined by a shoulder injury. Additionally, the team has placed rookie offensive lineman Jordan Morgan on injured reserve.
The Chicago Bears also see some notable returns. Starting offensive tackles Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright are back after being sidelined with knee issues. Their return should provide a boost to rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, who was sacked nine times in last week’s loss to the New England Patriots. However, the Bears will be without starting left guard Teven Jenkins, who is out with an ankle injury.
Both teams will be looking to capitalize on key players returning to the field, as they square off in a divisional showdown.
